Every holiday season brings with it some of the most delicious, and often times delicate, food dishes. All of the casseroles and baked turkeys or hams, cakes and pies, cookies and puddings make the season warm and merry. However, it is hard to think of a more travel adverse group of food items. Every year, many of us prepare food items and take them with us to friends or family during this time of year, and transporting them can really be a hassle. One of the key things to remember is strategic placement within your vehicle. Use the space you have to your best advantage. The floor behind the driver and passenger seats can be fantastic for holding a box secure. Place or cook your turkey or ham in a disposable foil pan and simply place another one on top inverted. After securing with a bit of tape, place it into the box. Place some kitchen towels around the pod you have created and you now have a way to transport your beautifully-prepared bird without worry.
