As everyone welcomes the New Year, 2017 is already (in hopes of many) a better year than the previous. However, Audi has had a spectacular 2016, and 2017 is looking just as good…if not better. At the beginning of this month, the new concept of the Q8 will hold the spotlight at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) located in Detroit.
The Audi Q8 concept is said to share elemental similarities with the 1980s Audi Ur-quattro, and to blend the styling of a coup and spaciousness of an SUV. Audi Head of Design Marc Lichte says, “Its design strongly evokes sportiness and prestige. What’s more, we believe an important aspect of this showcar is that it offers a spacious interior with four equally comfortable seats, even with the flat roof line.”
Needless to say, for those that are nostalgic but don’t mind an upgraded version, the Audi Q8 should bring back memories and excitement.
The press conference is held on January 9, 2017 in Detroit. Let’s hope to get a glance at what’s to come for the Q model line!
