Earlier today, Audi issued a press release announcing that it has earned three wins at the Automotive Innovation Awards. The automaker took home awards for innovations in the Connected Car and Vehicle Concepts/Body categories, as well as the main award for "Most Innovative Premium Brand." The awards were presented this past Wednesday by the research institute Center of Automotive Management (CAM) and PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (PwC) at a ceremony om Frankfurt.
“These awards are both praise and motivation for our team,” said Dr. Stefan Knirsch, Member of the AUDI AG Board of Management for Technical Development. “We are an innovation driver for classic and alternative drive systems, lightweight construction and production processes, connectivity, driver assistance and piloted driving – and we are working continuously to maintain our ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ (Advancement through Technology).”
