This year Audi is focusing its efforts on growth and expansion to bring all of you in the greater Charlotte area, a more diverse and complete new Audi lineup. With a great variety of luxury sedans, crossovers, and SUV's to choose from, you might think it can't really get much better. However, Audi is now refocusing its plans in order to push success one step further.
Audi recently announced that it will be spending $17 billion throughout the next three years in order to further develop its inventory and the technology it offers. More specifically, $14 billion will be put towards the modernization of products. This includes developing lightweight designs and electric mobility. Audi wants to supply dealerships like Audi of Charlotte the best products possible and with improvements like these, our favorite German automaker will be well on its way to doing so.
The strategic growth plans also involve the expansion of production in Audi factories in Hungary and China. To further increase capacity it plans to build a new plant in Mexico, with the goal of its vehicle production to be in operation by 2016.
With ambitious plans like these, we have no doubt that Audi will be able to reach its overall goal to sell over 2 million vehicles annually by 2012. We can't wait to see what the automaker has in store to improve models like the popular Audi A4 sedan, or the Audi Q5 SUV.
