The next time you're driving around Charlotte, try to be cognizant of the cars around you. You'll likely spot the iconic four-ringed logo Audi is famous for, more times than you can count on one hand. You might even see it more than you can count on two hands. The reason is simple. Audi popularity is skyrocketing.

Just-released numbers depict an astounding 28-percent growth in sales for the month of November alone. In terms of units, that's approximately 111,400 new Audi models delivered to buyers across the world, putting Audi well on their way toward meeting, and perhaps exceeding, their annual sales goal.

The geographic market that is perhaps most credited with November's near-30-percent leap is China. While sales performance in the U.S. and Europe are very healthy - 15.2 percent and 17.8 percent respectively - growth in China is HUGE. We're talking 68.8-percent huge.

However, while the numbers don't lie; they tell only half of the story. Yes, growth in China is, well, mind blowing. But, Audi likely feels just as great satisfaction with their upward trajectory in Europe. First of all, a 17.8-percent increase is nothing to scoff at. Second, it isn't just  near-18-percent growth; it is close to an 18-percent gain within a single month...in a geo market in which Audi has been working tirelessly to gain greater traction.

"We are growing against the trend in Western Europe," explains Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member, Marketing & Sales Board of Management, AUDI AG. "We will sell more than 250,000 cars in Germany this year for the first time since 2008."1Hmmmm...Looks like some Bavarian brand might just want to watch their back.

Want to stay on top of how Audi's performance progresses into the New Year? Stay tuned. Audi of Charlotte, located at 9300 E Independence Blvd is dedicated to keeping you informed.
