While July is the perfect time for greater Charlotte area residents to take a vacation, many here locally, and across the United States also saw it as a good time to buy or lease a new Audi vehicle as well. At Audi of Charlotte, we've got the numbers to prove it too.
Sales rose 28 percent over July 2011 figures this year, and four models in particular accounted for 30 percent of customer demand last month, as the Audi A8, Audi A7, Audi A6 and Audi Q7 topped the charts. So, if you've seen any of these models out cruising the streets recently, you now know the reason.
While vehicles like the Audi A6 and A8 performed exceptionally well at dealerships, they weren't the only ones winning drivers over. As more people in the Matthews, Concord, and Rock Hill areas are looking for alternative fuel sources and more efficient luxury vehicles, they are turning to TDI clean diesel models like the Audi A3 TDI, which saw a 28.3 percent jump in July, and rose 46.2 percent among diesel-only models in the Audi lineup.
In addition to the A3, the Audi Q7 also boasts a TDI clean diesel model as well, giving drivers sedan and crossover options of the efficient fuel source.
Drivers weren't limiting themselves to new Audi vehicles either. Many used Audi models were also popular as over 3,000 used and Audi Certified Pre-Owned luxury cars were sold in July.
